This Privacy Policy describes how ATEK Mikrodalga A.Ş. ("ATEK MIDAS", "we", "us", "our"), located at Çifte Havuzlar Mah. Eski Londra Asfaltı Cad., YTÜ Teknopark B2 Blok 151/1G No:105, 34220 Esenler / Istanbul, Türkiye, collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit atekmidas.com or otherwise communicate with us.

This may include your name, business e-mail, phone number, company name, job title, country, and the details of your technical or commercial enquiry. We do not collect sensitive personal data through our website.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the site, certain technical data is collected automatically:

Server logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, referral URL, and timestamps. Used for security and performance monitoring.
Analytics data — Aggregate traffic and engagement data collected via Google Analytics 4 (see §5), subject to your cookie consent.
IP-based country detection — When you open a form, your browser contacts geojs.io to look up your approximate country from your IP address, used solely to pre-fill the Country field (see §6).

4. Cookies and Consent Management

Our website uses Silktide Consent Manager to give you control over non-essential cookies. You can accept, reject, or customise cookie categories at any time using the cookie icon at the bottom-right of any page.

We have implemented Google Consent Mode v2, which signals your consent preferences to Google services before any tag fires. If you decline analytics or marketing cookies, Google receives only anonymous, aggregate signals — no identifiable data is collected or stored by Google.

5. Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager

Subject to your analytics cookie consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) through Google Tag Manager (container ID: GTM-5CH2VN7R) to understand how visitors use our site.

GA4 collects aggregate data such as page views, session duration, device type, and geographic region (country level only). It does not collect your name, e-mail address, or other directly identifying information.

Data is processed by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Amendment. You can opt out of GA4 tracking at any time using the cookie consent banner or the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

6. Google Ads and Conversion Tracking

Subject to your marketing cookie consent, Google Ads conversion tracking is active through Google Tag Manager. This allows us to measure whether visitors who clicked one of our ads subsequently submitted an enquiry. We do not use remarketing lists built from sensitive data categories.

Advertising measurement is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can manage your Google ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.

7. IP-Based Country Detection (geojs.io)

When you open a contact or enquiry form, your browser sends a request to geojs.io (get.geojs.io) to determine your approximate country from your IP address. This is used solely to pre-fill the Country field in the form — it is not used for tracking or profiling.

Your IP address is processed by geojs.io transiently to return a country name. No data is retained by geojs.io beyond the API response. The returned country name is placed in the form field only; it is not submitted to ATEK MIDAS unless you choose to complete and submit the form.

Lawful basis: legitimate interest — a minor UX convenience that does not materially affect your rights or freedoms.

8. Google reCAPTCHA v3

We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect our contact, sample-request, and technical-support forms from spam and automated abuse. reCAPTCHA v3 operates entirely in the background — no puzzle or checkbox is shown.

reCAPTCHA analyzes user behavior, IP address, browser characteristics, and interaction patterns to generate a risk score. This analysis involves sending data to Google's servers. reCAPTCHA is classified as a required service on this site because form submissions would be exposed to automated abuse without it.

Data is processed by Google LLC under Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. For more information, see Google's reCAPTCHA page.

9. Social Media Links

Our website footer links to our profiles on LinkedIn (linkedin.com/company/atek-microwave), YouTube (youtube.com/@ATEKMIDAS), and EverythingRF (everythingrf.com/companies/1686/atek-midas).

These are plain hyperlinks. We do not embed social media widgets, share buttons, Like buttons, or tracking pixels on this site. No data is transmitted to LinkedIn, YouTube, or EverythingRF as a result of visiting atekmidas.com. If you click a link and visit those platforms, your data will be processed by them under their own privacy policies and terms.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and to comply with our legal and contractual obligations. Enquiry records are generally retained for three years unless a longer period is required by law. Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for 14 months (configurable in our GA4 property settings).

11. International Data Transfers

ATEK MIDAS is established in Türkiye. When we use Google services (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager, reCAPTCHA), your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. These transfers are carried out under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, providing appropriate safeguards for your personal data.

12. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
Delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
Restrict or object to certain processing
Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent), without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing
Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (for EU/EEA residents, your local Data Protection Authority; for Turkish residents, the Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kurulu — Personal Data Protection Board)

13. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. KVKK Notice — Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (Aydınlatma Metni)

As ATEK Mikrodalga A.Ş. is established in Türkiye, the processing of personal data through this website is additionally governed by Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"). This section supplements, and does not replace, the rest of this Privacy Policy.

14.1 Data Controller (Veri Sorumlusu)

ATEK Mikrodalga A.Ş. acts as the data controller (veri sorumlusu) for personal data processed through atekmidas.com, at the address given in §15 below.

14.2 Categories of Personal Data Processed

As described in §1, this may include identity information (name, job title, company), contact information (e-mail, phone number), and transaction-security data (IP address, browser/device data, enquiry and log records).

14.3 Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing (KVKK Md. 5)

We process personal data for the purposes set out in §2, relying on the following legal bases under KVKK Article 5/2:

(c) Processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract — responding to enquiries, quotations, and technical support requests
(ç) Processing is necessary for compliance with our legal obligations
(f) Processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms — e.g. website security, fraud/spam prevention (reCAPTCHA), and analytics

Where none of the above apply, we rely on your explicit consent (KVKK Md. 5/1) — for example, for optional analytics and marketing cookies (see §4).

14.4 Method of Collection

Personal data is collected through the methods described in §1: directly via forms, e-mail, or phone (verbal/written/physical means), and automatically through your use of the website (electronic means), as required by KVKK Md. 5.

14.5 Transfer of Personal Data (KVKK Md. 8–9)

Personal data may be transferred domestically to the recipients listed in §3, and abroad to the service providers listed in §5–8 and §11 (e.g. Google LLC, in the United States), relying on the legal bases in §14.3 above and, where required, appropriate safeguards recognized under KVKK Md. 9.

14.6 Your Rights Under KVKK Article 11

As a data subject, you have the right to:

Learn whether your personal data is being processed
Request information if your data has been processed
Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in accordance with that purpose
Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, domestically or abroad
Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
Request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions set out in KVKK Article 7
Request that any correction, deletion, or destruction be notified to third parties to whom your data was transferred
Object to a result that is to your detriment arising from analysis of your data exclusively through automated systems
Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of your data

14.7 How to Exercise Your Rights (Başvuru Usulü)

You may submit your request in writing to our address in §15, or by e-mail to info@atekmidas.com, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. We will respond within 30 days, free of charge unless the request requires additional cost, in which case a fee may apply within the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kurulu (Personal Data Protection Board), via kvkk.gov.tr.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page. Continued use of our website following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
